A taste of Burgundian luxury, Joseph Drouhin Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru 2022 is a blend of premier cru vineyards. This Pinot Noir offers a symphony of red fruit, spice, and earth, with a velvety texture and a lingering finish that embodies the essence of Burgundy's finest terroirs.

Fine lace and silk are the words most often associated with this wine. Bright, intense colour and complex aromas evoking violet, black cherry and damp earth. According to the vintages, there are also notes of truffle and game. Refined tannins coat the palate. Good balance between texture and acidity. Long aftertaste, with notes of cherry and candied fruit.

The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru is a blend dominated by Les Plantes and Combottes. Wafting from the glass with scents of raspberries, rose petals, sweet spices and cherries, it's medium to full-bodied, pure and seamless, with a layered core of fruit and a fine-boned, mineral profile.

Outstanding. An airy, ripe and perfumed nose speaks of mostly various red berries and a hint of cinnamon tea. In keeping with the elegance of the nose the mouthfeel of the middleweight flavors is super-sleek thanks to the very fine-grained tannins shaping the youthfully austere, balanced and lingering finish. This could use more depth but that should progressively develop if given a chance.
