Notes from the Winemaker
This impeccable Cabernet Sauvignon initially displays lively aromatics of black cherry, blackcurrant, and dried cranberry. Additional airing reveals nuances of dried flowers, nutmeg, white pepper, and cedar. The palate is full-bodied and rich with elegant flavors of ripe raspberry, blackcurrant, and fresh boysenberry with notes of cocoa powder, bay leaf, sage, and sweet pipe tobacco. The wine is complex and youthful, with bright fruit characters and vibrant spice. It offers intensity and richness and reflects the terroir of Dry Creek Valley beautifully.

Reviews and Accolades
91 Points/Wine and Spirits
Plump and easy, this wine smells like strawberries and tastes like darker fruit—black currants along with herbal scents of cigar tobacco. It feels supple and substantial, healthy and round, with foresty notes of pine sap. For rosemary-grilled lamb chops.
90 Points/Wine Enthusiast
This is a greatly approachable and well-made wine, blended with small amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Smoky, perfumed oak leads to a juicy center of black currant, black cherry, cedar and dried herb, finishing on supple tannins.
