12 Bottles Michael David Freakshow Cabernet Sauvignon from Lodi California 2017 750ML
Michael David Freakshow Cabernet Sauvignon from Lodi California 2016
Freakshow Cabernet Sauvignon
2016 | Lodi Appellation TASTING NOTES
Prepare to be amazed! Our 2016 Freakshow Cabernet opens the act with a bright bouquet of Raspberry, toasted vanilla and a hint of violet and barbecue smoke. Full-bodied like the strongman himself, layered tannins give way to rich flavors of ripe black cherry, chocolate mousse, and toasted chestnut. Our Cabernet show ends with a broad, weighty and lingering finish.
Known for taking the road less traveled, Michael David Winery has always stood apart from the crowd. Whether it be their outlandish brands and packaging or their quirky personalities, Michael and David are definitely on a stage of their own and this wine showcases just that. The fruit for this wine comes from the original “super freak” himself, Michael Phillips’ Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard located only a medicine balls toss away from the winery.
We could not have asked for better conditions for the 2016 growing season. The weather was temperate with only 8 days above 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and the fruit quality was impeccable. We started picking in late July and finished the last week of October, just before heavy rains hit. With so many ideal factors coming together at the peak of harvest, 2016 is a vintage to look out for!

Wines Damaged During Shipment
In the small chance that you receive a damaged bottle of the wine from Vinobee, please contact us within 2 weeks of your purchase date. To ensure our quality control is up to date, we may ask you to submit pictures and or return any unopened bottles for inspection. You may be entitled to a replacement or a refund, but that will be determined by our staff once your case is reviewed.
Shipping during the summer months of the year has an increased risk of heat damage. Vinobee is not responsible for wine damaged due to heat. It is the customer's responsibility to be aware of shipping weather conditions when ordering.
If you decide to order and ship the wine during the summer months, the heat can cause the wine to expand and push against the cork, perhaps leaking past an imperfect cork. Some buyers may find this upsetting, but typically such short-term heat exposure creates no damage to the wine itself. However, do take care with older vintages, as they can be more fragile than newer ones. Slight leakage or seepage can be common during shipping and is not a valid reason to return the wine for a refund. If you are concerned about the heat damage, it’s best to wait until cooler months to order.
Enjoy your shopping at Vinobee and we hope you enjoy your wine!
